NASA’s next flagship observatory pairs a 2.4-metre mirror with a Wide Field Instrument that captures an area of sky at least 100 times larger than Hubble in a single shot. Its mission: map dark energy and dark matter, survey billions of galaxies, and directly image exoplanets with its Coronagraph.
